breathe out, breathe out

breathe out, breathe out is an interactive projection art piece by Courage Barda. The title is a request of the artist for the audience, a request to pause and exhale all tension, and then some more. The piece features a pendulum-like animation that interweaves a video of the 2024 solar eclipse and an image from the Hubble Telescope of the globular cluster NGC 6496. The opening chords from a 2024 performance of Courage Barda’s ‘Blueberry Dreams’ provide the piece’s audio.
